ICF (Insulated Concrete Form) modules are permanent, non-removable formwork made from EPS foam boards, into which reinforced concrete is poured; once constructed, the insulation layer and the wall form a single unit.
Three key points:
Materials: EPS foam on both sides (for insulation), with plastic or metal connectors in the middle (to create a cavity).
Construction: Assembled like building blocks, followed by the placement of reinforcement bars and the pouring of concrete; the foam does not need to be removed.
