Before construction, ensure adequate dimensional allowance. The cutting environment must be flat and clean. The cut mesh should be rolled up and stored; folding or stepping on it is prohibited. The mesh should be embedded in the polymer mortar. An additional layer of alkali-resistant mesh should be laid on the first floor of the building, at door and window openings, decorative joints, and internal and external corners. The overlap length of ordinary alkali-resistant mesh should not be less than 100mm; alkali-resistant mesh should only be butted together, not overlapped. At internal and external corners, the width of the alkali-resistant mesh on each side should not be less than 20mm. Around door and window openings, the alkali-resistant mesh should extend 100mm beyond the wall surface, and an additional 400mm×30mm alkali-resistant mesh should be laid at each of the four corners at a 45° angle. Avoid rain and impact for 4 hours after construction. Take precautions during construction to prevent fiberglass fibers from entering the eyes or respiratory tract.
During transportation, avoid moisture and mechanical damage. The product should be stored in a dry, well-ventilated indoor environment. Packaging typically uses plastic film to isolate rainwater and protect the mesh from moisture. A paper tube is usually included in the center of the product for easy installation and construction. Under normal use, fiberglass mesh will not pose a harm to the human body. Reuse is generally not recommended, as used mesh may be damaged and its performance may decline.
